I got to spend my 29th birthday with my favorite people, my family and my maternal grandparents (and of course all of my aunts and cousins). We arrived on that exact day to a small town in San Luis Potosi and they already had carnitas prepared. My grandpa had killed a pig for me. I am not really a fan of pig meat, but I was just happy with what my grandpa had done for me. (You should see all the process it takes to kill a huge pig).
It had been almost five years since I had seen my grandparents and I was jumping with excitement and anxiety to be able to spend time with them. Love spending time with them on a rocking chair and hear what my grandpa has to say. He is a man full of wisdom.
I also love visiting Mexico because I can eat Mexico's delicious food. Even when you buy a "Mexican coke" in the US, it is still not the same. My grandparents have mango trees and we ate them like crazy. I looked like a child gobbling a mango thinking they would run out lol.
I also like to visit El Meco, San Luis Potosi, because as you can see, it is full of the Lords beauty. You get to see how God is such a unique artist. There is no place such like El Meco. It is a secret paradise.
It has two waterfalls and a river that just keeps going on and on. It is the same river, but depending who's backyard you visit, it looks like a total new river, new place. Oh and many restaurants and street tacos.
Not sure about you, but I would love to visit a beautiful place where no one that I know has visited. I love being unique!
